In the Singles competition final Linda Roberts of Craufurd Buccaneers beat Geoff Beale of Bird In Hand.
Sean Pither and Win Newman of Bird In Hand had an outstanding run winning a Pairs quarter final, then a Presidents semi-final, then a Pairs semi-final and beating Brian Bannister and Barry Ackrill to win the Presidents competition.
The final of the Play To Lose and the Pairs competition will be played next Tuesday and next Monday respectively.
Congratulations to Tim & Dave of Craufurd Crusaders and Wendy & Dave of Ark Angels on reaching the final of the Play To Lose Competition.
This final, along with other outstanding matches from the other competitions are played next Monday night at Desborough.

The postponed league match between Cookham Social and Bourne End was played tonight with a 12-4 win for Cookham Social
Both cup finals proved to be close run affairs. In the Richard Pither Challenge Cup final Craufurd Crusaders drew with Ark Angels 8-8 after playing the standard match and won it on the decider.
North Star managed an outright victory over Craufurd Buccaneers by the narrowest of margins: 9-7.
Ark Angels cemented their position at the top of the league with a draw against Craufurd Crusaders. North Star lost 7-9 to Boundary Arms, Desborough B drew against Bourne End as did Ivy Leaf A vs Ivy Leaf B. Cookham Social beat New Inn 11-5 and Bird In Hand beat Desborough A 9-7. One postponed game remains to be played however it will not affect the top of the league.
Ark Angels move into first place with a 12-4 win over Desborough B. Craufurd Buccaneers drew with sister team Craufurd Crusaders to have the same number of points but a lower points difference.
Boundary Arms move up to third with a 9-7 win over Bourne End. New Inn lost 7-9 to Ivy Leaf B and drop from third to fifth.
Ivy Leaf A beat North Star 10-6. Cookham Social beat Bird In Hand 9-7.
The Richard Pither cup final between Craufurd Crusaders and Ark Angels will be played at the Craufurd Arms.
The Team Trophy cup final between Craufurd Buccaneers and North Star will be played at the North Star.
Congratulations to Alan Frampton (Boundary Arms) on winning the Secretaries’ Cup competition for a second year running, beating Peter Colton of Ivy Leaf A in the final.
Ark Angels lost 6-10 to fourth-placed Boundary Arms which allowed Craufurd Buccaneers to go top with a 10-6 win over Desborough B. New Inn remain third despite a 7-9 loss to Ivy Leaf A.

Last week’s leaders New Inn drop to second place this week having had a Bye fixture this week. Craufurd Buccaneers could have overtaken them but were held to a draw by North Star which brings them level on points but still behind on difference.
Ark Angels move into first place, leapfrogging New Inn and Craufurd Buccaneers, with a 10-6 win over Bourne End. Of the six games played four results in draws so there is little movement in the rest of the league table. The draws were Bird in Hand/Ivy Leaf A, Cookham Social/Desborough B, Craufurd Buccaneers/North Star and Ivy Leaf B/Craufurd Crusaders. Boundary Arms beat Desborough A 11-5.
